I got a nasty urinary tract infection this weekend. I get them about once a year, so I'm use to them, but this one was pretty nasty. I was suppose to go have dinner with my friends at 630, but at about 4, I was out with Izaak shopping for furniture, and I got a bad stomach ache. I thought it would go away, but it just started moving south. We had to rush to Kaiser. Needless to say, I spent the weekend resting, and had to take Monday off from work. Anyway, it's Tuesday now, and I'm back to work.

Izaak and I decided to rent an apartment in Aiea! We were initally thinking of buying a place, but Izaak's dad said to wait a few years and we could afford to buy a house instead of an apartment. We couldn't wait a few years, so we decided it would be less expensive to rent, than to buy a house now and lose money. We looked at apartments in Aiea and Pearlcity, but had a hard time finding a place with 2 parking stalls. We finally found a place in Aiea with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and 2 COVERED parking stalls! We were sold! We move in october 15.

Before I got attacked by a killer UTI, we found some nice furniture at Ashley furniture. We fell in love with the reclining sofas. We also fell in love with a pillow-top king matress. We decided to just buy those things, and hold off on a dining room table and chairs, and a bedroom set, since we'll be dirt poor! Hopefully we can take those things when we buy a house. My mom said I could take the dresser drawers from my house, and we just bought a new cage for cookie, so I think that will be it.

We figured out that we really need to tighten our belts if we are going to rent. We decided not to go to NY, and instead we can enjoy our first home together :)
