2006-04-29 - 10:33 p.m.

Eariler this week I was sick - I had a horrible headache and was feeling dizzy. I went to work on monday, and had to leave after my first kiddo. I took the next couple of days off. I went to see the doctor and he said it could be anything from a tension headache to a viral infection. He suggested I take a few days off work and get a massage. So I did! I had the best massage ever at this place in Wahiawa.

Thursday and Friday I went to the Hawaii SLP convention. I was hoping to see Satan's helpers to show them that I was still working, and in a better place. I only saw one of them - and she averted eye contact with me. I attended a course on Dysphagia. It was pretty boring, but I learned some things about swallowing and cancer, so it was good. I got to see a lot of my old classmates which was nice. At lunch, there was a raffle, and I was telling Kristie that I never win anything, then I won a $50 gift certificate to Bubba Gumps! Not bad! It said specifically, 'no alcohol'. Oh well, I'll just eat some fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, baked shrimp...

Today Izaak and I went to Kristie's bday party. It was lots of fun! We had a potlluck and bbq, played frisbee, and smashed a spongebob pinata. Tonight I had dinner with my family - mmm, pizza.

All in all a good couple of days, especially because I'm feeling much better :)
