Mika got married this past weekend! It was great. A pirate theme! I remember when we were younger, she always wanted a theme wedding. She had it at the Pagoda - the ceremony was by a waterfall and her dad married them. It was beautiful. The reception was at a ballroom in the Pagoda - where I somehow got the notion to give a speech! Must have been the open bar. I was so happy for her, so I decided to give a toast. She is the first one of us to take the big leap. Mike is the perfect guy for her - and he loves her so much! I'm truly happy for them.

After the reception, we went up to their suite and hung out. I got to meet Mike's friends and some of Mika's work friends. All in all it was a wonderful evening. I think it brought all of my friends closer together.

Later that night Izaak and I went to Oceans to celebrate his co-worker's bday. We were pretty tired from the wedding so we didn't stay long.

The next day we went to Octoberfest with Mika, Mike, his friends, Kristie, and Maile. I tanked some beers with the girls, then some beers with the guys. Overall I got pretty drunk - I vaguely remember doing the chicken dance and peeing on the seat in the bathroom. Izaak said I couldn't really walk. I think that was the drunkest I've been in front of my girlfriends in a while. I had a blast! Damn Mika and Mike for paying for everything! Damn pirates!
