2005-07-11 - 1:44 a.m. Yesterday was Rose's wedding. It was really beautiful. We went for hair and makeup at Coverlook at 8am, it was SO early for me! I had this little filipino girl, who did a great job. Me and Lisa decided to get our hair similar, so we got it half up - Lisa with flips and me with curls. The girl spent a long time on my eyeshadow, but it cam out great. Next, we went home ate a lunch (very carefully) and then got dressed. Lisa and I wore maroon long dresses with a shawl. Rose bought them in Colorado when she went to visit a friend. They were really nice. Rose wore an off the shoulder wedding dress with pearls and lace in the back. It had a long train that would be put up for the reception. My mom wore a gold strapless dress with tie back - she looked GREAT! My dad wore a tux with gold tie and vest to match my mom. He also looked great. The limo was suppose to pick us up at 12, but he was an hour late!!! Never use Platinum Limosines! They sent 2 limos to pick up Anthony and his groomsmen, one was suppose to be ours - how awful! Anyway, it came to pick us up at 1, and it couldn't make it up our steep driveway, so we had to walk, in the rain, to the end of the driveway. We made it to the church at 1:15, where we quickly set up the church. The ceremony began at 2. The order of bridal party walking down the aisle was Anthony's brother Gilbert walking with his grandma, then Anthony's parents, then my parents, then me, then lisa, then the ring bearer, then the flower girl, then my dad and rose. It was so beautiful! The mass went well, then we walked back. I was so proud of my family! I also want to have a Catholic wedding. Then we quickly took pictures, then went to the reception by limo. The reception was held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village - which is HUGE! I never realized it was so huge. We rested in the honeymoon suite for a bit, then down to the ballroom. It was held in the Honolulu room, which was the perfect size. The bridal party was again introduced and then seated at the head table. I've never sat at the head table before, it was quite an honor. Dinner was served and Mexican guitarists played. Then Filipino dancers performed. Later, Lisa and I gave our speeches, where we totally embarrassed Rose - Lisa even talked about when Rose accidentally pooped herself! It wasn't my idea! Then Anthony's groomsmen spoke, then Rose and Anthony. Then we had Rose and my dad's dance, then Rose and Jimmy, then the bridal party. All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony and reception - the greatest wedding I've ever been too. It made me really excited for me and Izaak's wedding!
