I haven't written in a while, I've been busy with school stuff. Since I've last written, I took my comprehensive exam.. It was really hard. The first day was the worst - we had to write on 5 case studies on various things such as child language disorders, voice disorders, and aphasia. I was in there for the full 4 hours. The second day we were tested on the 'basics' which I had to score at least 70%, and then our minor section, which was audiology. About a week later, we got the results, and I found out that I passed! I was so happy!

I was assigned to two adult clients. I'm starting to like working with adults. They are very appreciative of what we do, and the preparation time is much shorter. I use to think that working with adults would not be as rewarding as working with kids, but I think that it is just rewarding in different ways.

I finished taking data and the written part of my research, so it was time to present it and defend it to my research committee. I did that this past wednesday. I did a powerpoint presentation, then the committee asked me questions for about an hour. Whoo boy, it was pretty brutal, but I got through it. At the end, they told me I passed, but I had to make some minor changes to my written part. YAY, almost done with research.

I feel good - I feel so close to the end. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Tonight I went to Feng Shui with my sisters, izaak, and his friends. It was fun - i found a good drink - Chambord mixed with seven up. It tastes like grape juice! After that we had a late dinner at zippy's.

I can't sleep cause I woke up at 5pm today... hehe. I guess I should try...
