I had a great weekend - no studying, but I had a lot of fun. On Friday, I went to the gym with izaak, and later met up with some friends at D&B's. Oh wait - it wasn't a complete bash cause I got a MEAN stomach ache after dinner. I think it was one of the top 5 worst stomach ache's I've ever had. Whew boy. Anyway, on Saturday, Izaak and I went to the beach. I haven't gone to the beach in so long. We went to T&C to buy me a leash, cause I lost mines, and I asked the guy for a straight bodyboard leash. He said, "Whoa, they don't make those anymore! How long has it been since you've gone?" I guess it has been a LONG time since I've gone bodyboarding. We went to waimanalo - the waves were small, but it's nice cause the sand is super-soft, and you can catch waves in shallow water. I hate that feeling when you first go into the cold water. The worst part is when it hits your genital area. I know I don't have balls, but when the wave hits me there, I swear my balls retract into my body for warmth. Anyway, I think working out is helping me to swim and catch waves. I don't tumble around as much, and when I do, I can recover quicker. I love the feeling when you catch a good size wave, and it lifts you up. It's the best when you think it's gonna be too big, and you are gonna crash, but you don't, and you just get butterflies in your stomach. It's awesome. I don't know why it's been so long since I've gone. I'm gonna try to go at least once a month.

Later that day I went to Kristie's bday party. We were late cause we went to pick up Izaak's mom's car at goodyear, and when we went, they weren't ready. We got to Ruby Tuesday's 45 minutes late! It was a lot of fun - the food was pretty good. After that, we went over to Maile's for drinks and games. We played trivial pursuit, which was fun. I don't understand how people can have that kind of knowledge stored in their brain - I guess if you do lots of reading and movie watching you can retain that stuff. Man, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a cultured person. My reading is restricted to textbooks, menus, and email. My movie going purpose is to laugh at people falling down and smoking weed. My weekends are spent sleeping in late and laughing with friends. My knowledge is confined to speech pathology and perfecting the 100 point ski-ball shot. The questions I got right on trivial pursuit was based on soap operas and tv. Hehe - thats me in a nutshell. We got kristie so drunk. I felt so bad knowing she got sick the next day, but she said she had fun, and we had an awesome time making up excuses for her to take shots!

On sunday I went to a BBQ with some of Izaak's friends. We went to Gray's house, where I tried to study, but mainly just drank beer and watched them burn things. It was a lot of fun.

Now its back to the grind I guess, 5 more weeks til comps. I have accepted the fact of failing, It's ok in my book ;)
