I had a wonderful Christmas! On Christmas eve I finished up some shopping and did some massive gift wrapping. Some of my friends are done with their shopping by Thanksgiving! That will never happen for me. I am a last minute shopper to the max. My gift wrapping skills are not up to par. I always miscalculate the paper size and can never make the edges nice. Oh well.

That night Izaak and I went to Sam Choy's for dinner. We always go out for a nice dinner on Christmas Eve and exchange presents at midnight. We had awesome food there - steak, crab legs, and garlic mashed potatoes... YUM! After dinner we went to deliver some presents, then we went to my church for the Midnight mass and to watch my sister sing in the choir. She had a solo that night, and did really well. After the mass Izaak and I exchanged presents. He bought me a BEAUTIFUL Dooney and Bourke purse and a board game. The purse is black with DB all over it. It has a black leather ribbon and a black leather strap. I really love it! Izaak noticed that I use a regular purse for everyday and the burberry purse he bought me for going out, so he got me another fancy purse so I can use one all the time. How very sweet. I bought him a digital camera and speakers for his car.

On Christmas day my family waited for Rose to finish work to open presents. Lisa bought me makeup and clothes. Rose bought me the huge gold hoop earrings I wanted and some childrens books. My mom and dad gave me money and some clothes. Jared gave me the Seinfeld DVD since I didn't get to go to the concert, YAY! Gray and Colin bought me a gameboy game. After that we played board games and ate lots of Christmas deserts. It was a very nice Christmas.

A few days ago I went to the dentist and while she was cleaning my teeth I wondered where the best place to put my tongue was. Does anyone else wonder these kinds of things or is it just me? I kept moving it around so I wouldn't get it in her way! She must have thought I was having spasms.

Tomorrow I'm going out with my friends to dinner. Two of my friends are home from Japan. I haven't seen them in such a long time so it will be nice to see them again. I really want to travel the world, but I think I will always want to return to Hawaii.

I always get a little sad after Christmas... knowing that its over and all, but I guess without the time in between, the season wouldn't be so special.
