2003-09-23 - 3:28 a.m. I had all weekend to work on my research thesis. I had no clinic planning to do, and only one small assingment due for Fluency class. What did I do? A whole lot of nothing. My favorite. Just what the doctor ordered. On friday I slep in late (no shocker) and had dinner with izaak, his friend and his girlfriend. We went to this place called Gyukaku.. which a few of my friends recommended. Kristie and Juli, I'm sorry.. but it was JUNK! It was a cute little japanese place where you cooked your food on your table. The food was not very good, and kind of expensive. When we left, I was still hungry! Plus Izaak's friend was trying to be nice and cooked all the food, while one of the main reasons why I wanted to go there was so I could cook! It was kind of odd to see the waiters bring raw food to the table. After that we went to Coldstones - it was my first time there, and the ice cream was very good. We tipped them so they would sing - what a great way to make tips! Genious. On Saturday, Jared and I went to the Mazda dealer to look at the RX8 he's been drooling over. Then we went swimming. Later that night, Izaak and I went to dinner with some friends at Dave and Busters. It was a lot of fun for me because I finally got to play my favorite basketball game since my wrist is feeling MUCH better. Then we went to see "Once upon a time in Mexico" which was pretty good. Sunday was a nice and lazy day where I slept in, and did some homework. Rose came home today, and we had a nice barbeque. I also had my 3 hour class. Stuttering is such a horrible disorder. We watched a video with little ones who were just learning to speak, and were already stuttering. So far, my area of interest in Speech Pathology is child articulation errors is, but the more I learn about stuttering, the more I interested I become in it. Ok.. back to research.. never mind the fact that I have to be up soon. With all the extra sleep I racked up over the weekend, I'm wide awake ;)
