I wanted to write about my ordeal last week, but I was too upset to even write! Now that I have calmed down, I feel like I can let the fire out through my fingertips. I apologize if your eyes burn while reading this.

I was supposed to be assigned at a certain school for my externship. There was a miscommunication with the supervisor there, and I've been reassigned. Apparently, I was RUDE to this woman, and she complained to the UH coordinator about me. ME? RUDE?? Please, I am very polite! Especially to strangers! I was appalled! Nevermind the fact that she called me 3 days late, she lost my phone number, and she didn't call the number I asked her to call me at. Anyway, now I have to wait to be re-assigned cause this lady said I was RUDE to her when we finally got to speak. All I said was that I didn't receive her message until late, and if next time she could call my cell phone I could call her back sooner. What's rude about that? Serenity Now!

In the mean time, I've been doing Phonology Screening at Hickam Elementary. I'm working with another student who I call 'Ice princess bitch'. She's the kind of person who sucks up to teachers, but thinks they are better than the other students. She corrects me, walks in front of me to talk with SLP's, and tries to tell me what to do. Today, I tried to help her with some computer work the SLP had us do, and she told me, "Can you move, cause I dont like people looking over my shoulder when I'm doing work" I actually laughed cause I couldnt believe someone could be such a bitch. So I left her to do all of our work. What a bitch! Why can't people say things in a nicer way? I don't understand people. Don't they ever think of how things are going to sound, or do they just mouth off? This is the same girl who gives the ultra fake nicey voice to teachers. Ugh, I had to work with her once before and I hated it cause everything had to be her way. SUCH a bitch. And on another note, she had to trick her boyfriend into proposing to her. She told him, "oh, I made an appointment for us to go the the ring shop to pick out my engagement ring" so he had to ask her to marry her! Poor man. Such a bitch! I have to see her on thursday too. I never want to work with this bitch again.

Onto nicer things, during the phonology screeing, We had to ask all the kindergarteners questions like, do these words rhyme and what sounds are in the word 'cat'. I asked this one boy if the words 'kiss' and 'miss' rhyme, and he said, 'Kiss miss!' and he kissed my hand. It was adorable. It made my day.

I think it's hilarious how people on military bases are very diligent drivers. They go the speed limit, they make complete stops.. everything! Its funny to see all these people going 23mph. I like to see them go off base and speed. I never realized how slow 25 miles an hour was!
