I really like that quote. I try to think about that during my day.

My sleeping schedule has been really off. Since I have no early morning classes, I've been sleeping till early afternoon everyday! This means I go out during the night, and am awake while everyone else is sleeping. So what does that translate to? A whole lot of infomercial watching! For those of you who don't know me, I am a big infomercial fan! My personal favorites are the food ones. I love food processors, easy bbq grills, and the quick and easy microwave/oven things. My least favorite are for those stupid vitamin or sex drug ones. I also don't like the weight loss ones, but I'll watch that over the viagra ones. My new favorite one to watch is shark floor sweeper. I am impressed! I love how infomercial actors over emphasize everything. I love how the guy makes up a problem that really doesn't exist, then the girl treats him like a god for fixing it! Pure entertainment!

So here I am, procrastinating since I dont want to do more research on my thesis. My research chair and I decided to do pragmatic differences between filipino children and white children. I'm really excited about it, but there isn't much literature out there on the pragmatics of filipino culture, so I really have to hunt.

Hmm.. if I had to make a new product, what would it be? Maybe an ergonomic chair for computer users that has the keyboard right in it. Nah, i'll make something in the food market. Maybe another version of a dishwasher.

Yesterday when I went to alamoana I used the huge public bathroom. I always have these weird dreams about dirty public bathrooms, and going through this huge restroom was just like my dreams! it was surreal. I also have recurring dreams about talking animals, being in the bandroom where I can't find my clarinet, and having to put in my retainer which doesn't fit.

I went to a family dinner tonight, and I saw my cousin who is visiting from Texas. She is a nurse practicioner, and her husband is an anethesiologist. They must make some serious money. They're such a nice couple too.

Ok, enough procrastinating.. back to filipino headquarters.
